Meow-se Code

Meow-se Code hides your words inside cat sounds. Encoding and decoding both run entirely on your device — your messages are never uploaded. The app is free and ad-supported, with optional one-time purchases.

This policy is published by Chill & Code Studio, based in Malaysia. It covers the Meow-se Code mobile app and nothing else.

Data we collect

• No account is required. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
• The messages you encode or decode are processed on your device and are never sent to our servers.
• Saved messages, themes, and settings are stored in the app's local storage on your device.
• Device and usage data collected automatically by our advertising provider: IP address, advertising identifier, device model, operating system version, and diagnostic information.
• Purchase records for optional one-time purchases, handled by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details.
• Anything you choose to send us directly, such as the contents of a support email.

How we use your data

• Provide the encode and decode features and keep your saved messages.
• Serve and measure advertising, and honour your ads-personalisation choice.
• Unlock and restore optional purchases such as extra themes and storage.
• Respond to support requests you send us.

Sharing & third parties

• Google AdMob, our advertising partner, which processes device and advertising identifiers to select and measure ads.
• Google Play Billing, which processes in-app purchases.
• Where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• We never sell, rent, or trade your data, and we never use your messages for advertising or profiling.

Retention

Your messages and settings stay on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app. We hold no copy. Data held by our advertising and billing providers is retained under their own schedules.

Security

Encoding and decoding happen locally, so your text never crosses the network. Any traffic the app does make — ads and purchase verification — uses encrypted HTTPS connections.

Your choices & rights

• Reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ads personalisation in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
• Delete saved messages in the app at any time, or clear the app's storage to remove everything at once.
• Ask us what data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by emailing us.

Children's privacy

Meow-se Code is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn that such data has been collected, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is published at this same address and the “last updated” date above changes with it. The URL itself never changes.
